The 14th annual Bear on the Square Mountain Festival features bluegrass and old-time music and authentic mountain crafts on the historic Public Square, 13 South Park Street, Dahlonega, Georgia all weekend. Pre-festival events, including workshops and a country auction, begin april 16th - 18th. Festival activities include concerts, musical and crafting workshops, continous jam sessions (everyone's invited to join in!) street dance, children's activities, storytelling, demonstrations and sales of traditional mountain crafts and regional foods. Rain or Shine! 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. Saturday & Sunday. Fees for some concerts. Outdoor events are free.
